Helpful Resources
The one thing a computer user seems to have
the most of is questions. Being a technician, when my profession comes into the
conversation it is inevitable that questions are soon to be asked regarding
computers and why they aren't doing what they are supposed to be doing.
The internet is filled with a wealth of
knowledge if you take the time to search through the results of a Google Search
to find what you are looking for. Out of the thousands or hits that are found
maybe only a handful of the results will actually have anything to do with what
you're looking for.
Even a well seasoned web surfer will tell you
that there are tricks to finding what you need on the web. A quotation mark
here and a comma there may mean a world of difference in the number of hits
your results yield.
Oh yea, and if you don't know what a "hit" is,
or the wide variety of terms that computer geek's use your world gets even more
confusing. (A hit, for your information is a connection/site that actually has
something to do with a term you were searching for.)
